Policy overview
Read how images stay in your browser, what consent and optional settings store, and which hosting details need verification. Review your privacy choices.

Operator, scope and contact
This policy describes Resize Images Online, browser image tools without accounts, payments or server image storage. The site is served at https://resizeimagesonline.net by Nginx on a VPS. The operator’s legal identity, monitored privacy contact, complete hosting-provider arrangements and any required representatives remain unverified. The Contact page records that status and does not accept messages or uploads.
Do not send confidential photographs to an unverified address. A verified contact channel and the actual operator’s legal review are prerequisites for public launch. Using the tool or pressing Agree does not identify you as an account holder, establish an image-hosting agreement, accept Terms through a cookie choice, or give the service ownership of your files.

Images, filenames and local processing
You select files from your device, paste an image from the clipboard, or load the site’s public demonstration. Supported JPEG, PNG and static WebP images are decoded, resized, cropped and encoded in browser memory. Batch archives are assembled locally. The editor does not upload input or output photographs, filenames, EXIF/GPS, thumbnails, canvas contents, object URLs or ZIP archives to analytics, advertising, diagnostic or image-processing endpoints. Workers communicate with the same page; codec and WASM resources are served by this site.
The working queue retains file references and results while the page is open. Removing an item, replacing results, resetting the editor or leaving the page releases the corresponding references and object URLs; cancellation prevents stale processing results from being applied. This is application cleanup, not a promise to physically erase device memory, browser caches, originals on disk or downloaded copies. Closing privacy settings or withdrawing an optional purpose does not clear the queue or cancel your work.
Processed exports are newly encoded binary files and strip source EXIF, GPS and XMP metadata. The dimension checker reads the original without producing a cleaned export. Metadata removal does not remove information visible in the pixels, such as faces, addresses or screenshot text. Keep the original when you need its original metadata and inspect an export before sharing.
Consent and optional device preferences
A necessary host-only cookie records your explicit purpose choices, decision, policy version and dates for 180 days. It is not an analytics identifier. Acceptance and refusal use the same expiry. You can separately choose to remember language or tool defaults. The latter contains validated units, dimensions, aspect/crop mode, quality, format and target-byte settings; it never contains photos, filenames, exact crop coordinates or results. Optional preferences are kept in local storage with a 180-day expiry checked on access.
Rejecting optional purposes removes these known optional preference keys and prevents new optional collection. Turning off saved defaults does not reset current resize/crop settings or interrupt active jobs. When cookies or local storage are unavailable, editing still works; the choice can remain only in the current page. Consent changes synchronize between tabs of this host, not between the owner’s other domains.
Measurement before and after a choice
No analytics provider, advertising network, session replay or optional diagnostics service is installed in this release. No third-party measurement requests run before or after Agree. Before any choice, the editor and ordinary page/asset delivery remain available. The default regional profile is strict and consent required because applicability has not been verified. Any future aggregate measurement must derive from already necessary hosting operations and be documented; this release does not add an aggregation endpoint.
Agree applies only to disclosed active optional purposes. Analytics cookies, when configured, require a separate choice and depend on measurement being enabled. Statistics do not enable Google Signals, advertising data use or personalization. Explicit rejection or turning measurement off stops future optional calls, including cookieless pings, and discards unsubmitted events. The adapter does not retain a hidden activity history for later replay. Withdrawal cannot erase requests already received by a provider.
Hosting, recipients and international transfers
Opening the website requests HTML, illustrations, scripts, workers and codecs. Hosting infrastructure receives IP addresses and request headers to deliver content. Access and error logs are disabled for this site’s Nginx virtual host. This does not establish the absence of provider, network or SSH security logs. Provider identity, hosting and backup regions, any separate log retention and transfer safeguards remain unverified. Local image processing does not mean browsing generates no network traffic.
We do not send image files to another tool or domain automatically. Public external reference links are ordinary links, not embedded media; their sites process your request when you follow them. If an optional provider is enabled after verification, its identity, purposes, retention and privacy controls must appear in Cookie Settings and the Cookie Policy. No claim is made that all processing infrastructure is in the EU or that no network recipient can ever receive personal information.
Your rights, withdrawal and complaints
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, and the right to complain to your competent data-protection authority. Cookie Settings is the immediate control for optional processing on this device. Withdrawal is prospective and does not change the lawfulness of processing already carried out. Blocking optional storage does not prevent image editing.
A verified privacy contact is not available yet; this is an explicit release blocker, not a request to send personal information to a placeholder. The owner must publish a monitored channel and document how requests and support correspondence are handled, retained and verified. Do not include photos, GPS or confidential file names in a support report unless a later verified workflow explicitly requires them.
Security, audience and policy changes
The editor limits file types, dimensions, queue weight and processing resources. These checks reduce risks but do not guarantee perfect security or acceptance on every device. Use a browser and device you trust and check content before sharing. The service is a general-purpose image tool, not a service directed at children; no unsupported age threshold or parental-verification claim is made.
This page shows the real update date. Material new optional purposes require an appropriate new decision without silently expanding an existing grant. An existing complete refusal is preserved rather than repeatedly reset. Changes in the operator, processors or legal basis require review and an updated disclosure. Cookie Policy gives the current storage inventory, and Terms explain processing limitations.
